ABOUT ME

Anna Ercilla

Yoga has been a part of my life for over 10 years. My practice has taught me strength, healing, and clarity—both on and off the mat. Yoga inspires me to live my life more mindfully, and to share my love for the practice with as many people as I can.

I completed my 200-hour training with YogaWorks core faculty member Sarah Bell. I am currently learning from the expert mentorship and guidance of Marc Macadaeg and the Align&Refine Yoga team. I am constantly inspired and challenged by my teachers in Urban Ashram Yoga and Evolve Yoga & Fitness.

I love to combine thoughtful sequencing and a bit of playfulness in my classes. I put a lot of focus into intelligent, deliberate movement. I seek to help people find strength, healing, and clarity through the practice, just as I did (and still do, every day). My hope is that you step off the mat feeling refreshed, motivated, and perhaps with a little bit more awareness about your mental and physical capacities.

MY CONTINUING EDUCATION

Align&Refine Yoga

Marc Macadaeg developed the Align&Refine Yoga class format in Urban Ashram Yoga to address the need for a more individualized and intuitive kind of practice for mixed-level classes.

The Align&Refine Yoga courses are systems based on inquiry. It addresses and answers the why and how of asana, which compels you to be honest with your own body, capacity, and current range of motion.
